Day ten

Austin to Eureka
70 daily
537 total

Got an early start and passed a cool old church

The first climb was nice. The sun was out!

Highway 50 stretches out towards Eureka from Bob Scott Summit

B.Y.O.W. - a recurring theme in Nevada

The remaining ride to Eureka is a 15-25 mph 3hr rip. Nice!

The wind pushed me all the way!
These guard rails appear once or twice a day so I take the chance to lean the bike and take a seat

Don't mess with the Eureka fire house- it is bomb proof.

As I arrive at the hotel, I meet another cyclist, Mark. He's riding the same route as me and his friend Bill follows him in an RV.

There's snow in the forecast tomorrow. If it's really coming down in the morning I might wait it out for a day.
