Here's a shot of my ice palace thawing out-
Highway 12 winds through Red Canyon. The rocks are unreal reds, oranges and pinks. The whole landscape has a wonderful composure. Even with the chaotic path of erosion, rocks and trees serve their aesthetic purpose in their perfect and only places.
This ride also carried me through part of Bryce Canyon. If had decent shoes along I might have camped somewhere and hiked for a day. And then there's the 2800-miles-to-go factor as well.
I end up in the town of Topic. Even the pizza place doesnt serve beer! Still a nice place. The hotel has a cool movie channel and I watch Steve McQueen in "Le Mans". Some say it's a flop but I think it was pretty neat.
Seems like everydoggy's got an ATV in Utah.
